This weekend I will be making the switch from Invision Power Board to phpBB. Lately we have been getting a couple dozen of spam bot registrations a day and have had to turn on manual admin activation which means I have to check every email/IP address with a known Spammer database. phpBB will help since it is an open source system which is constantly being developed and hence has great anti-spammer tools.
