It's an easy way for admins/owners to post something directly to the homepage. Any news or server changes.
Pretty much you start a new thread in this section and it will automatically add the first post of the thread to the homepage.

That game picture is awesome I cannot wait. All the different kit variations and adjustable environments - I see this as a game that will last awhile considering how long it will take to learn everything.
